| Full Name: Samuel Hughstine Background: Sam grew up in Arizona; he lives with his two brothers and father. His father enrolled him in a Karate Class when he was seven and Sam took to the sport like it was in his genes, in less than five months he became a challenge to even the adults in the school. Sam was troubled in his youth and when given the opportunity he would strike out and fight anyone that he could. After his fateful bout with Tom when they were young Jenny took over his training. Sam never quite reached Tom’s level of ability in Jenny’s style, but he retains a strange mixture of both Karate and the unknown style. Sam doesn’t speak that much, he prefers to let Tom do the talking, but when he does it’s usually to ask a pertinent question, or to deliver a simple one liner…usually at Tom’s expense. Sam has many of the same stances on life as Tom; ‘friends before self’, and fighting isn’t just a way to kill time until life catches up with you, but a way of life. Sam and Tom usually agree with one another and have a tendency to end up on the same page when presented with a new problem. Sam however tends to think more along the side of Hana and as such he is usually caught in the middle of their bickering. |
